A big thank you to all participants who joined our information session on 8 July for the launch of the new MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the European Institute for Advanced Behavioural Management (EIABM) at Saarland University. We greatly appreciated the strong interest in entrepreneurial and innovation-driven career paths and thank our university’s vice-president Professor Jutta Kray-Mecklinger and the vice-dean of the Faculty of Human and Business Sciences for their words of support.
During the session, we presented the academic profile and structure of the programme, which combines solid general management foundations with a clear focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. Participants gained an overview of the one-year full-time format, the 15 English-taught block courses, and the hands-on learning environment with case studies, company visits and guest lectures.
A particular highlight was the podium discussion with our alumnus Ivo Sonntag and current student Shelby Peranich, who shared insightful perspectives on their MBA journey and how it supports their professional development, and we would like to extend a big thank you to both for contributing to the event.
As EIABM, we aim to prepare professionals and graduates from all disciplines to initiate start-up projects, lead innovation processes and assume entrepreneurial responsibility in a dynamic, international context. Our MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation builds on Saarland University’s profile as an Entrepreneurial University and close links to the Triathlon ecosystem for entrepreneurship, innovation and transfer.
Applications for the MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation are now open to candidates with a completed first university degree and relevant professional experience, as the programme is offered as continuing education.
