In an increasingly regulated and interconnected world, understanding European regulations is becoming ever more important. Whether it’s about protecting data, complying with sustainability standards or adapting to new rules in the digital market, companies have to continuously deal with the complex requirements of the European Union. Knowledge of these European Regulations forms the basis for operating successfully in a highly competitive environment and minimising legal risks.
In the ‘European Regulations’ module, led by Prof. JUDr. Daniela Heid, students learn about the key legal and economic regulations of the EU. Practical case studies are used to teach them how to effectively integrate these regulations into company management.
Prof JUDr Daniela Heid is a lecturer at numerous institutions such as the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) in Maastricht, various federal authorities, an expert and professor at the Federal University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in Cologne. She specialises in European law, public service law, Czech law and national and international police law.
