A key to the success of internationalising universities and companies is collaboration between a wide variety of organisations and individuals, in addition to excellent teaching.

Therefore, it has been a great pleasure to welcome Consul General of India Mubarak Bawa Syed and his delegation including Vinod Kumar Consul (Pol, Eco & Com) & Commercial Representative and Shri Vibha Kant Sharma Consul (Press, Information & Culture) & Head of Chancery at the European Institute for Advanced Behavioural Management, Saarland University!

Professor Dominik Brodowski, Vice-President for Internationalization and European Relations, provided the delegation and selected Indian students with a warm welcome and insights into Universität des Saarlandes and the importance of Indian students and partners at Saarland University including our partner, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Thereafter, our academic director Professor Bastian Popp had the pleasure of presenting our MBA European Management, where we always very much enjoy working with many students from India. While the feedback from these students has always been incredibly positive and #Saarland and Saarland University offer an excellent environment for international students, we are convinced the collaboration of many different actors, including the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, the International Office of Saarland University, Mrs. Moutushi Künne, our students, and us, can even generate even more value for the students, companies, countries, and the society!

The open exchange between our students and Consul General Mubarak Bawa Syed has been highly appreciated and will contribute to supporting international students both at Saarland University and in everyday life.

Therefore, we would like to thank everyone involved in this cooperation for their contributions. We are very much looking forward to strengthening our collaboration and welcoming Indian students to our MBA European Management and other programmes at Saarland University!

Finally, we would like to thank our students and Moutushi Künne for their efforts to make this meeting possible and also for the very tasty Indian food which was a perfect side to the inspiring conversations that concluded the event!
