From 1986 to 2018, Professor Dr. Scholz held the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Organization, Personnel and Information Management. From 1990 to 2016, he was the founding director of the MBA programme at the European Institute of Saarland University.
He was a pioneer of his time and highly appreciated by scientists, students and practitioners. Thanks to his commitment, the postgraduate MBA programme “European Management” was the first programme to be established at a German university to lead to a MBA degree.
We will always commemorate his services to the Europa-Institut and the University of Saarland with thankfulness.
