Prototyping and Agile Project Management
Quick responses and flexibility are essential for large organisations and corporations as they increasingly use agile methods to shape their software development processes. The increased use of remote working has led to innovative approaches in agile project management that enable effective collaboration and integration of teams across global boundaries.
The Prototyping and Agile Project Management module provides a comprehensive introduction to the essential concepts of product development using agile methods such as Scrum and Design Thinking. At the beginning of the course, the basic principles of Scrum and Design Thinking are taught. On this basis, participants will develop a product development project characterised by iterative development cycles over the course of the lecture. Important elements such as velocity planning, daily scrum, reviews and retrospectives are an integral part of the course and enable a practical understanding of agile approaches in product development. In addition, the importance of sustainable prototyping and the application of agile methods in the modern working world are discussed.
